How easy is ADVFN to use

When choosing charting software there are a number of different factors you need to consider. This could be cost, access, easy of use to name a few. I have not used any other charting software other than ADVFN. I have to admit I am not an expert in using it either, however if you want to have a straight forward review of my dealings with it then keep reading... I was introduced to ADVFN as I am a student of Traders University. As such I have settings based on the education at the Traders University, so if the settings you see are different this may be why. First of all the cost. At around £20 a month it is reasonably priced. I have seen Sharescope in use, which is slightly more expensive. However I think you get what you pay for. One of the reasons why I chose ADVFN is due to the fact it is a online system and you can access it from any computer with internet access. Some systems mean you have to download it, so those times when you are not at home you have no way of checking your charts. I do like the fact you have the an ability to take a snap shot of any charts you annotate with lines. However I would prefer if you could draw these lines on a chart which update with the new prices as time goes on. Maybe you can do this and I haven't found out how to do it. Being a beginner in the trading world I think that ADVFN gives me everything I need to hone my spread betting skills in the markets. I am aware that there are more complicated systems but I guess I'll save them for when my skills have improved.
