7 Golden Rules In Stock Trading By Andrew Palmer Stock trading can be fun and make you some money. However whatever trader you are, you must have rules. 1) Plan first: The first thing you must do is write down how you plan to trade. Will it be technically (using charts) or on fundementals ( news and events). 2) What method will you use? Will you invest directly in the stock market or use other methods like spread betting? 3) How much can you risk? Only risk what you are happy losing. 4) Long or Short term? A good plan will consist of both types of trading. 5) Where will you trade? Research your broker for fees and customer support. 6) How will I learn? Will you attend a seminar, read a book, research online or just jump in at the deep end. and last but not least 7) Keep positive. Even a good plan will have down days. The trick is to have more up days than down.
